… and your latest trick

I’ve read on a forum an interesting idea, which is a shortcut:

  • There are credit cards for buying things; you can buy something, and you have no costs if you pay the money back within a certain amount of time (let’s say, 30 days); so, you can buy a plasma and if you pay the money in 30 days, you aren’t charged anything;
  • You can’t use the credit card to get the money from them, you have to buy things;
  • And here’s the trick: the guy on the forum came up with this idea: you go to a store, you use a credit card, you buy something (really!) expensive with the credit card; without opening the boxes, you say you wish to return the bought items (you can do this right after purchase); since the products aren’t even opened, the store can’t refuse your claim; and here’s the thing – the store is most likely to pay you in cash that amount of money; thus, for 30 days you can use the money without any credit;
  • The idea goes even further – you can take another “loan” after 30 days from a similar provider.

I dislike this idea, yet it’s very legal (the problem is from the store, who should not give you cash, it’s not with you), and is, in one way, a short-cut.
